Performance Introduction
This is an artistic group that has been highly praised on the world stage: breaking records for public attendance (1,700,000 people) and the number of performances (over 4,000 shows) for 21 consecutive years. In 21 years, there has not been a single performance suspended for any reason. In December 2024, the Madrid Flamenco Dance Troupe from Spain comes a long way to present an unprecedented performance of ‘Carmen’ to the audience with its excellent dance, music, plot arrangement, and profound artistic heritage. ‘Carmen’ pays tribute to the classic, retaining as much of the original plot as possible, conveying the profound thoughts in the story: the liberation of women’s souls, resistance to the objectification of women, the dilemma between love and survival, and who is the master of destiny? The audience will find answers in this immersive journey, through scenes of emotion, struggle, fighting, and farewell.
