The Treasure Cultural Center is a remarkable establishment situated on the 37th and 38th floors of the iconic Shanghai Tower. It is a hub of Chinese craft culture and aesthetics, offering visitors an immersive experience into the depths of Eastern civilization and its millennia-old traditions.
On the 38th floor, you will find the Treasure Artisan Pavilion, a collaboration with over 60 Chinese arts and crafts masters and intangible cultural heritage inheritors. This space is dedicated to showcasing more than a thousand living works of craftsmanship, spread across a 2000 square-meter immersive exhibition area. It provides a comprehensive view of the nine major categories of contemporary Chinese arts and crafts, reflecting the rich tapestry of Eastern creation throughout the ages.
The center partners with these outstanding artisans to present Chinese craft culture and aesthetics through a variety of mediums, including thematic exhibitions, academic lectures, experiential activities, and the development of cultural and creative derivatives. This commitment to innovation and tradition ensures that the legacy of Chinese arts and crafts continues to thrive and captivate audiences.
