The fair plays a significant role in promoting the development of the Asian art photography market and has established an authoritative and active international exchange on the medium of photographic art.

In 2025, marking the fair’s 10th anniversary, Meta Media Group will assume the role of the organizer, bringing a fresh perspective to the 10th edition of PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai Art Fair. They will inject comprehensive resources and communication energy to continue building Shanghai’s urban cultural IP, enhancing the city’s cultural leadership, creativity, and influence.
From May 8th to 11th, 2025, the 10th edition of PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai Art Fair will return to the Shanghai Exhibition Center, gathering nearly 50 galleries and photographic art institutions from China and other countries and regions to engage in dialogues around the global photographic art ecosystem and its future development. The fair will introduce new content sections to pioneer interactions between photographic art and diverse fields, inviting global photographic collectors, professionals, and art enthusiasts to embark on a journey of contemporary photographic art exploration.
The 10th edition of PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai Art Fair also plans to co-launch the ‘Meta Eye Awards’ with the Shanghai Super Boundary Photography Art Festival to inspire the creation of young new media artists and look forward to the future of photographic art.The opening hours are from May 8th to May 11th.
