Tangzhi Mountain Scenic Area is located in the northeastern part of Shunyi District. The scenic area covers a total area of 15 square kilometers and includes the Shengtang Valley, Dazigou, and Shi’erjian, which together form the Tangzhi Mountain Grand Canyon. The area features natural landscapes themed around mountains, water, and forests, including Shengtang Lake and Shengtang Valley. Shengtang Lake covers an area of 1200 mu with clear waters and enchanting scenery. Within Shengtang Valley, there are flowing springs, waterfalls, grotesque rocks, lush forests, and fragrant flowers and birdsong, resembling a fairyland. The valley also contains attractions such as the Lock Wind Cave, the Octagonal Stele Mineral Spring, and the famous ‘Three Ponds, Six Caves, and Eighteen Scenes’, each with its own captivating historical legends. The operating hours are subject to the daily opening status.
