Ninghai County Root Carving Art Museum is primarily composed of six major sections: the theme exhibition hall, the boutique exhibition hall, the cultural reception hall, the calligraphy and painting exchange hall, the wood (root) carving creation area, and the master’s studio.
The theme exhibition hall mainly displays root carving art works of contemporary various themes, styles, and characteristics, focusing on regional, era, and distinctive elements.
The boutique exhibition hall showcases the masterpieces of master craftsmen and the artistic treasures of Ninghai root carving ‘intangible cultural heritage’ inheritors, along with ancient root carving art treasures collected by the museum.
