The history of traditional Chinese medicine is long and far-reaching, representing the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation’s predecessors. It has endured for 5,000 years, rooted in the ancient soil of Chinese civilization. Since its establishment in 1541 AD, Guangyuyuan has been an inheritor of this rich cultural heritage, dedicated to alleviating human suffering and earning widespread recognition. Adhering to the pharmaceutical spirit encapsulated by the phrase “Although no one sees the preparation, one’s intention is known by heaven,” Guangyuyuan has been contributing to the cause of human health.
In an effort to better disseminate the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, Guangyuyuan initiated preparations for the construction of a museum in Beijing’s Qianmen area in 2015. Affiliated with Beijing Guangyuyuan Exhibition Co., Ltd., the museum is situated on the third floors of No. 66, 68, and 70, Qianmen Street, in Dongcheng District, Beijing. The exhibition hall spans approximately 1,000 square meters. The museum operates with the following hours: Open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
