The American Club of Cathay, an old building with a long history in the Shanghai area, is located on Fuzhou Road. Completed in 1925, its exterior walls from the ground floor to the sixth floor are constructed with brown wall bricks, which are jointed with white cement. The second floor features floor-to-ceiling long windows, accompanied by a long balcony that protrudes outside, complete with an iron railing. Each floor’s windows are rectangular, and their lintels are white and arc-shaped.
